The Livan Story
Welcome. My name is Cory Matt, an Employee Benefits Specialist with nearly a decade of experience in the field. Since 2015, I’ve focused on helping organizations design and manage comprehensive benefits programs that support their employees' needs.

Before transitioning to employee benefits, I spent over 20 years actively involved in sales and operations for a family business, giving me a deep understanding of the challenges small and medium-sized business owners face. I’m passionate about advocating for employee well-being, believing that effective benefits solutions are key to attracting and retaining top talent. I also remain mindful of business owners' interests when putting together benefit packages.

I’ve lived in the Kansas City metropolitan area for most of my life, where I attended Rockhurst University and met my wife of nearly 30 years. When I’m not working, you’ll find me cheering on my high school-age son at his sporting events and checking in on my older son at the University of Kansas. As a family, we attend as many Kansas City Chiefs games as possible and have even won the coveted Tailgate of the Game! We’re also proud pet parents to two goldendoodles and two adopted cats, who keep our home lively.
